The Foundry and OC Fitness are delighted to announce that Radley College in Oxfordshire, home of OC Fitness, will be the secret location for The Foundry's Heavy Weekend on 13-14 August 2011.
For one weekend, everyday people will be trained like and by professional athletes who have performed at the highest level of their field including:
- For strength and conditioning: Andy Titterrell, Leeds Carnegie RFC Captain and former British & Irish Lions and England rugby player.
- For technical Olympic lifting tuition: Evelyn Stevenson, UK Power Lifting and England Weightlifting Champion.
- For nutrition for performance: Sarah Lindsay, three time Olympian and nine time British Speed Skating Champion.
- For nutrition for body composition: Sian Toal, Fitness England Champion.
OC Fitness is headed up by Ollie Campbell, a leading strength and conditioning expert, personal trainer and ex professional rugby player in his own right.
Within its beautiful 800-acre estate, just outside picturesque Oxford, it has many attributes that make it the perfect location for the Foundry’s Heavy Weekend; it is secluded and private and its outdoor grounds and facilities mean that no activity is off limits.
These include a dedicated weights room, full athletics track, swimming pool, and more wide-open space for log throwing and sled dragging than you could ever imagine.
Dave Thomas, Director of Foundry Studios, said:
“We are delighted to announce our partnership with OC Fitness and to be hosting our Heavy Weekend at Radley College in August. From his professional rugby experience to his excellent client results, we admire and respect Ollie as a strength conditioning fitness professional. With him on board for our Heavy Weekend, I would just tell our participants: “expect the unexpected but always expect to be trained hard!””
Ollie Campbell, head of OC Fitness, said:
“It is a really exciting opportunity to work with The Foundry. Everything about them says professionalism and perfection. They have put together a great line-up for the Heavy Weekend and it’s an honour to host such a line up of leading experts. It will be a fantastic weekend of learning and training. There is nothing else like this going on in the fitness industry.”
